Our programs for citizens

Citizen Engagement Program

A free educational online and offline program that was born out of the need to spread the notion of social entrepreneurship in Lebanon. The program includes a 6-episode online course about social entrepreneurship in Arabic and offline events to encourage participants to meet and connect.

More than 20 experts from the local ecosystem share their backgrounds, journeys, tips and impact they have on the community.

This program also contains two workshops (sense_camp and a social project creation workshop (sense_fiction) where  participants can put into practice the knowledge they acquired and interact with the social entrepreneurs and experts from the course.

Sensemaker Program

The 4 step program invites a group of citizens to discover the world of
Social entrepreneurship, and the different journeys they can take to have
a social and/or environmental impact on their communities of choice.

The program is completed once the participant organizes an event, with the support of the makesense community and the ecosystem of entrepreneurs and NGOs.

Ambassador – Kickstarter program

The kickstarter program is a way for citizens to learn how to make an impact in their community. It gives them tools to create a ‘hotspot’ in their city and organise active citizens events. They learn how to lead and develop a community, connect with like-minded people, and facilitate events to activate and boost the ecosystem.
